Withering tree and park bench drawing

Hi everyone, welcome to Simple Easy Drawing! I’ve drawn lots of little things over time, and I thought I’d put some of them together to share with you. This list has 26 simple easy things to draw, right from little characters and everyday objects to small scenes. Nothing too complex, just some simple drawings you can easily try with a pencil. If you don’t want to think too hard about what to draw, I hope you find some good inspiration here. Let’s begin!

1. Walking duck

Let’s start with this little duck! I gave it tiny crossed legs to make it look like it’s walking. I kept the rest of the drawing simple, with just a few details on the duck.

2. Firefly in a jar

I drew a little firefly inside a jar and added some yellow to its body. The jar has a simple lid, and I left the rest of the drawing plain. You could use a darker background if you want the firefly to stand out.

3. Peeking beaver

I drew this little beaver peeking out of a hole underground, with its paws resting on the edge. I kept its head round and the paws small. Most of the drawing is just the beaver’s face peeking out.

4. Safety pin

After a busy day, I noticed a little safety pin lying on my nightstand. I liked its simple shape, and it seemed like something I could sketch without having to think too much about it. So I drew it just as it was. Sometimes, pretty simple things to draw are right there in front of us.

5. Fish swimming

I drew a little fish swimming through the water from the top angle, with waves all around it. I kept the fish simple and added a few curved lines to show the water. You could use different colors for the fish and waves if you’d like to color the drawing.

I drew a small nightstand with a lamp on top. It has a little drawer and a simple lamp sitting above it. I kept the scene to just these two objects instead of adding more furniture or details around them.

10. Sushi

I’m not a huge sushi fan, but I find them really aesthetic to look at. I sketched a little piece with a darker outer layer and some color inside for the filling. If you’re looking for stuff to draw in your spare time, food can be a good place to start.

This drawing has a little pot of cotton flowers and a butterfly nearby. I drew the flowers with round tops and simple stems. The butterfly flies besides the plant.

I always look for cute and easy things to draw when bored, and a small flower pot on my neighbours balcony inspired me to draw this.
