Hi everyone, welcome to Simple Easy Drawing! I’ve drawn lots of little things over time, and I thought I’d put some of them together to share with you. This list has 26 simple easy things to draw, right from little characters and everyday objects to small scenes. Nothing too complex, just some simple drawings you can easily try with a pencil. If you don’t want to think too hard about what to draw, I hope you find some good inspiration here. Let’s begin!
1. Walking duck
Let’s start with this little duck! I gave it tiny crossed legs to make it look like it’s walking. I kept the rest of the drawing simple, with just a few details on the duck.

2. Firefly in a jar
I drew a little firefly inside a jar and added some yellow to its body. The jar has a simple lid, and I left the rest of the drawing plain. You could use a darker background if you want the firefly to stand out.

3. Peeking beaver
I drew this little beaver peeking out of a hole underground, with its paws resting on the edge. I kept its head round and the paws small. Most of the drawing is just the beaver’s face peeking out.

4. Safety pin
After a busy day, I noticed a little safety pin lying on my nightstand. I liked its simple shape, and it seemed like something I could sketch without having to think too much about it. So I drew it just as it was. Sometimes, pretty simple things to draw are right there in front of us.

5. Fish swimming
I drew a little fish swimming through the water from the top angle, with waves all around it. I kept the fish simple and added a few curved lines to show the water. You could use different colors for the fish and waves if you’d like to color the drawing.

6. Boba drink
I drew a boba drink with a straw and little pearls at the bottom of the glass. You can color the drink to make it your own. Go for green matcha, brown chocolate, or any flavor you like. You can also choose different colors for the cup and straw.

7. Cute potato
I drew a little potato with a cute face. I kept the shape round and added just a few details. You could give yours a different expression or leave it as it is.

8. Cute dog
This sitting dog has floppy ears, a curled tail, and a relaxed expression. I kept its body and face simple, with the ears hanging down at the sides. It’s one of those cute things to draw when you want to add a little animal to your page. And if you want to try a different version to show the dog walking, you can check out my step by step dog drawing tutorial here.

9. Lamp on a nightstand
I drew a small nightstand with a lamp on top. It has a little drawer and a simple lamp sitting above it. I kept the scene to just these two objects instead of adding more furniture or details around them.

10. Sushi
I’m not a huge sushi fan, but I find them really aesthetic to look at. I sketched a little piece with a darker outer layer and some color inside for the filling. If you’re looking for stuff to draw in your spare time, food can be a good place to start.

11. Flying letter
Here’s an envelope flying through the air with a little heart on the front. I added tiny legs and a few lines behind it to show movement. It’s a regular envelope with a few extra details to turn it into a little character.

12. Woolen yarn ball
I drew a ball of yarn with curved lines crossing over one another and a loose strand trailing off to the side. I kept the shape round and didn’t add much else. You could color it to look like a ball of yarn in your favorite shade.

13. Cotton flowers and butterfly
This drawing has a little pot of cotton flowers and a butterfly nearby. I drew the flowers with round tops and simple stems. The butterfly flies besides the plant.
I always look for cute and easy things to draw when bored, and a small flower pot on my neighbours balcony inspired me to draw this.

14. Christmas sock
I love Christmas and cute socks, so of course I had to draw one! I gave it a curved shape with a cuff at the top. You could add stripes, stars, snowflakes, or other little decorations as per your taste.

15. Car on a road
Here’s a little car with a aesthetic road scene around it. I added a couple of clouds and a streetlight beside the road. You could change add color for the car or a road sign if you want to include a few more details. And if you want a bit more help to draw a car, check out my easy car drawing tutorial here.

16. Cute avocado skating
I wanted to turn an avocado into a little skating character, so I drew it with a simple body and skates. I added a few motion lines around it to show that it’s moving. You could change its pose or add a small face.

17. Apple juice
This little apple juice carton has a straw and an apple on the front. I kept the packaging simple, with just a few details on the label. It’s easy stuff to draw when you want a quick sketch of something familiar.

18. Cute pig
I wanted to draw a simple version of a pig, so I gave it a round body and a little face. I kept the details small and didn’t try to make it realistic. You could change the ears or facial expression if you want to draw your own version.

19. Bookshelf with a planter
I wanted to draw a bookshelf with a few books with a small planter sitting on top. I love how pretty it turned out. For your version, you could change the book sizes or add simple patterns to their covers.

20. Fishbowl
Here’s a round fishbowl with a little fish, plants, and pebbles inside. I don’t know why, but I also added tiny hearts floating above the bowl. You could color the water light blue and use different shades for the fish and plants.

21. Cute bow and arrow
This drawing has a simple bow and arrow with a few tiny stars around it. I kept the lines clean and left plenty of space around the main drawing. You could change the decorations or add a few more stars.

22. Campfire
I drew this camping scene with a tent and a little campfire beside it. I kept the tent and flames simple, using just a few lines. I love how the small circle in the sky immediately turned the vibe cozy.

23. Swing
When I was a kid, I loved going to the park, especially to play on the swings. I remembered those visits while drawing this one. You just need to draw a swing frame, two ropes, and a simple seat.

24. Coffee mug
This coffee mug is one of my favorite doodles. I drew a simple cup with a handle and a few curls of steam rising from the top. When you’re drawing, you could add dots, stripes, or a small heart to decorate the mug.

25. Sleepy moon
I drew a sleepy moon resting on a fluffy cloud, with little Zs floating beside it as the moon drifts off to sleep. I kept the drawing simple, with just a few curved lines to create the moon and cloud. I think it’s perfect to draw on a cozy night after a long day.

26. Flight window
The last one is a drawing to show a view through an airplane window, with clouds, a sun, and mountain below. I drew a rounded frame around the view and kept the details outside simple. You could change the view to show the ocean, or fields or anything you wish to see outside the plane.

When you sit down with your pencil, take it slow and enjoy the little details. Don’t be afraid to add your own touches or change something to suit your style. You could draw something that reminds you of your favorite place, a special memory, or even a little thing you noticed during your day.
